Crooked River Estate has teamed up with Big Bag Recovery and The Flagstaff Group to divert fertiliser and industrial bulk bags from ending up in landfill. The initiative targets woven polypropylene (wPP) and LDPE plastic bags and sacks.
The process is simple but effective:
- Crooked River Estate store eligible bags
- Bags are delivered to The Flagstaff Group, where they are weighed and recorded
- Bags are then sent to Big Bag Recovery for processing and recycling.
This collaboration not only reduces waste but also ensures materials are returned to productive use, supporting a more circular approach to plastic management.
